AROUND THE WORLD ON A MOTORCYCLE - TRIPThe project of getting to know the world on a motorcycle started after I realised that my reality was not exactly what I wanted it to be, and changing it just depended on me. I am scared. Im terrified. But I wont let that fear make me stay and live a life I dont want to and that will lead me to what my life has been in the past years. It took me various life tests to realise this, and the last one was on July 2017 when I had a heart failure at the age of 27 due to stress, from which I recovered. That day, everything changed. I realised I had everything to change my reality and I wasnt doing it because I was afraid. Afraid of what? Of dying? Of being robbed? But then I thought to myself... Am I living, anyway? Is this life? I have nothing to loose, I only have everything to win. And if I dont win... Is still that life the one thats going to make me happy? Is it my confort zone? What confort? I almost passed away. Is that life? What other proof do I need, stronger than death, to encourage myself to finally give that step? Thats when, 3 days after I got out of hospital, I decided I was going to go after my dreams, and chase and choose life. And I dont want to die before I try it. It may turn out good, it may turn out wrong. But still like that, I know what this life will lead me to. I have tried everything to change the reality. But I need to change. I need to take away that fear of the unknown, because the known-world, it is not working for me. I ask myself over and over again: is there any other test that life could put in front of you, apart from almost passing away, for you to open your eyes and see that even your body is screaming for a change? Where am I travelling to? My trip begins in Brazil, where I live. My first stop is in NorthEastern Brazil, I will follow up to the North and then to Bolivia. South America is the first part due to bureaucratic issues. I have a map which I plan to follow, but I know that I hardly ever follow it. I have travelled on a my motorcycle on other SouthaAmerican countried before, but still like that I never managed to follow the map! There was always more to live and experience than what I thought when planning the road! More details will be displayed later on the trip. How long will it take?Its a one-way ticket. I have no idea how long it will take, and I dont really think about it. I plan on making it a life-style. Whether its 1 month, 1 year or 15 years, it will take as much as I need. After all the trips I have done, I realised that too much is never enough, at least not for me. How will you get money for the trip?I have worked as a seller most of my life, I have sold hand craft in European beaches, worked on different sale stores. I also have photography skills and know how to cook. I have lived and financed my trips with this most of the times. I also think that need makes you do creative things, opens up your mind and makes you live on things you never thought would suit you! I never thought that selling Brazilian hand craft would allow me to travel for 2 months in one of the most expensive places in Southern Europe! And with will and determination, I did it.
